LEARN FROM ANYTHING

It's am8.00 already. - the second day

As usual, I sit down in front of my computer & ready to prepare for today.
But, the place change, the feeling also change. Now I work in my own place instead of office. The feeling is NO BAD. Especially I am looking forward to apply Employment Insurance (EI).

But, I also understand I need to prepare for myself - save money as much as possible. EI only support me for a short time. If no EI, no any saving, then........

In the other hand,Change - maybe is good for me.
I know I am afraid to change anything. But now, somebody push me to change. Suddenly, I wake up. It's not the Only place I can stay. Maybe I have better choices I did not pay attention to.
Thank you to my sister you provide me some ideas that I never consider about them. Thank you to all of my friends, you provide me the effort information regarding to how to apply EI, and how to prepare the documents I need.

From this time, I learn something difference. When I sudenly received the terminated letter, I was so helpless, just mad how they dare to treat me like that. But it's happened, it's true, they did it. Then, I understand -

1. You don't need to sell all of your skills to the only one employer - my younger sister always told me this word, but I listen to nothing. Now, I'm really consider it.

2. Keep your attention to any good chance.
you will not stay in the same company for all your life except it's your own company.

3. Ask the reason of termination.
When the ex-colleage tell me they always have problems to apply EI due to the employer always write down the reason as "DISMISSED" in the Record of Employment. one officer told them - YOU NEED TO ASK THE REASON FOR TERMINATION. so, I sent one registered mail to ask the reason. (you need to make sure they do received it and provide the EI department you did ask the employer the reason, whatever if employer answer or not)

4. request Record of Employment (ROE)
the employer should provide you the ROE report, the government will make the decision if you can apply EI or not due to the termination reason, if due to your fault, the employer terminated your employment, then you CAN'T apply EI. (this is why my ex-colleague told me write down a letter to ask the reason of termination)

5. Timing ( 2 weeks waiting period)
prepare all of the doucment & apply EI within 10 days from your last day.
